Everyone who has an android phone must have experienced this problem, where the cellphone we originally bought had very good performance, even very sophisticated and fast processing. But after a while how come it feels very slow, this really disturbs your comfort.

Usually this feels really good when you use it to open Facebook, BBM, Line, watch videos on YouTube, surf the internet or browse, what's more, when playing games, it feels really slow. This also happens after your phone is rooted or after an Android upgrade to a new version.

Then how to speed up a slow android? It's easy, you have to do some of the ways that I will give to solve the slow android problem which is proven to be able to speed up android performance on my cellphone.

But before we fix a slow android phone, let's see first, why can your cellphone be very slow, even though when you use it for the first time it feels easy and makes you think why is this phone so slow? yes? Here are some of the causes of Android so slow.

What causes Android phones to be slow or slow

There are many factors that make our Android smartphones slower. Whether it's because of material / physical factors or your use. Here are some of the causes:

1. The age of the Android smartphone or tablet is old / used goods

It is natural for the cellphone to be very slow because the longer we use it, the less "power", especially if the cellphone we buy is used.

2. Too Many Installing Applications

This is for sure, no matter how sophisticated your phone or tablet is if there are a lot of installed applications, then it will be very burdensome for your system, as well as the use of large amounts of ram memory. What's more, if all installed applications run immediately at startup or after booting, Android is first turned on. Surely your phone will be very slow.

3. Too Many Files Stored in Internal Memory

This is the same as point number 2, not only applications and games, but all files including still images from camera shots, videos from cameras, and downloaded files are also usually stored in the internal memory. This causes the phone to be slow because there is no free space for the android system to make the internal capacity full.

4. SMS Messages and Call Logs Pile Up

We often take this for granted, even though the effect is very pronounced when incoming messages, whether short messages or multimedia messages, incoming and outgoing call logs, we let this pile up a lot.

5. Cached Data Files Accumulate

This may be a lot of people who don't know and don't care about cached files, even though the size can be up to gigabytes, I've experienced it, my internal storage is full, then I see in the storage settings it turns out that the cache file size is 1.8 GB. No wonder my internal memory turned red and my android was very slow.

Ok after we know what causes our android phone to be very slow, now is the time for us to overcome this problem in the following ways.

How to Overcome a Slow Android Easily

Some of the ways to overcome a slow android below I have tested on my cellphone and have proven to be successful in speeding up the performance of my android.

1. Don't Run Multiple Apps & Games At The Same Time

This is the first thing you have to do, don't use many applications and games at the same time, this will cause Android to slow down because of the many application processes running on your phone, especially applications that suck up RAM memory such as Facebook, Chrome, YouTube and games. HD.

But sometimes we are too engrossed in the activities we do on our android phones, so excited to open many applications and forget not to close them, immediately press the home button and open other applications. This is what most often makes Android feel slow, so when you want to use many applications, close and open applications one by one.

It's okay to use a lot of applications and games, but the application is light. Do not eat a lot of ram you open at the same time.

2. Don't Install Too Many Apps & Games

This is like point number 1, the more applications that are installed, the more slow the Android will be. Just choose and install the applications or games you need, not because you want to look cool with a variety of applications on your phone, then you install applications that sometimes you don't really need. My advice is to delete it and don't install it if it's not needed.

3. Don't Save Files in Android's Internal Memory

Usually the file is a photo or video from the camera and all files are obtained from the downloads stored in the Downloads folder. You can move it to an external SD card memory. You can also set the camera to save it to external memory. Also on the android and chrome browsers to save the downloaded results on the SD Card.

4. Clear Cached Data on Internal Memory

I have discussed above that there are a lot of cache files on internal memory, so if left unchecked it can take up a lot of storage space, to always check and clear your android cache, how to open the Settings menu » Storage & USB » Internal Storage » Cached data  » Clear cached data? » OK . Finished!

5. Don't Let SMS & Call Logs Build Up

This has been discussed above, just don't let sms accumulate to hundreds or even thousands of sms piled up on your cellphone. I'm sure you guys have never thought about it, don't underestimate it because this can also make Android slow.

6. Don't Use Live Wallpaper Live

Don't be weird, if it makes Android slow, it's better not to use animated wallpaper, it does look more interesting and cool, but without realizing it makes Android performance slow. Usually girls like this kind of thing.

7. Turn off GPS when not in use

Do not turn on the GPS constantly, because in addition to draining the battery, GPS also makes Android feel hot and sluggish. Turn it on only when you need it, such as when traveling to find the intended location using Google Maps GPS or when playing the Pokemon GO game. For that just turn it off can not be used.

8. Don't Use Auto Rotate When Unnecessary

The screen rotation feature is to change the screen display to suit our desires, namely the horizontal and vertical screen display automatically. However, it is recommended not to activate this feature if you rarely use it.

You may activate the auto rotate feature if you need it often. However, if you don't really need this feature, then you should just disable it to help speed up the performance of your Android device.

9. Don't Use Auto Brightness

This auto brightness feature is a feature that functions to adjust the screen brightness automatically based on the light sensor received by your Android device. With the Auto Brightness feature, the light intensity on Android will adjust to the light conditions around us. Besides being able to make Android slower, another disadvantage is that the phone's battery will drain quickly.

10. Reduce Widget

Widgets on android smartphones are indeed very useful, such as clocks, google searches. But without us realizing that widgets can also slow down the performance of your android, for example email widgets or facebook widgets, indeed all info can appear directly on the widget, but it actually makes the process always work.

So do not install a lot of widgets on your phone. Put only what's important. Personally, I don't even use widgets at all. That way the data loading process will be faster.

That's how to overcome a slow / slow Android smartphone so that it becomes faster. If you have questions or other tips to speed up Android devices, share them in the comments column! Hope it is useful.
